Privacy Policy

Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary, Inc. (“SFWS”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the SFWS website (,, or, the “Site”) and governs data collection and usage at all SFWS sites and services; it does not apply to other online or offline sites, products or services. We are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the SFWS website, including sites linked to from the SFWS website.

Information Collected

SFWS may collect personal information, such as your name, mailing address, email address, or phone number — for example when purchasing a product, signing up for a newsletter, or making a donation. Any personal identifying information will be used solely for the purposes outlined below. Your sharing of this information is voluntary, and you can always choose not to provide it, but in such cases you may not be able to make full use of the Site. (For example, we would need your mailing address in order to mail merchandise or a donation receipt.)

SFWS may also collect non-personally identifying information, such as your browser name, method of connection to the Site, or operating system.

Use of your Personal Information

SFWS and its operational service partners collect and use your personal information to:

  • process product orders and deliver the products requested
  • provide timely and effective customer service
  • schedule tour appointments for you, and contact you regarding those appointments (for example, to confirm your attendance, update you on the status of the appointment, or cancel the appointment)
  • keep adequate records of donations as required by law
  • provide you with proper receipts for donations (you may elect not to receive a receipt)
  • acknowledge certain donations in an annual report or the Site (you may request anonymity for this purpose)
  • send you an e-newsletter or other email correspondence if you have requested it (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • send certain limited fundraising appeals (you may opt out at any time)

SFWS does not sell, rent, lease, or trade its constituent/consumer lists to third parties. We may use other companies to provide certain services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

SFWS does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

SFWS may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on SFWS or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of SFWS, including its website; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of SFWS or the public.

Personal information collected on the Site may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which SFWS or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities, and by using the Site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. SFWS abides by the safe harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union.

Control your Personal Information

SFWS offers individuals choices for the collection, use and sharing of personal information. You are given the option to make a donation anonymous on the donation form. You may also email us at or contact us by postal mail or phone if you wish to make your contributions anonymous. You may opt out of receiving emails from SFWS by either selecting the opt-out option at the bottom of the email, or replying to any email with an opt-out request.

Security of your Personal Information

SFWS is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access that are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we use a secure payment gateway so your information is protected.

Changes to this Statement

SFWS may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If there are material changes to the Policy or in how SFWS will use your personal information, SFWS will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. SFWS encourages you to periodically review this Policy to be informed of how SFWS is protecting your information.

Terms of Use

Use of the Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary, Inc. website (the “Site”) constitutes agreement to our terms of use. We encourage you to review the following information carefully.


All content on the Site, unless otherwise indicated, is the exclusive property of Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary. Said content includes text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, digital downloads, and software. Our content is protected by United States and international copyright laws and we reserve all rights contained therein.

Protecting Your Account

Some portions of the Site permit username and passwords to be used. You are responsible for protecting your unique username and password, and you agree to be responsible for all activities performed under your user account.

License and Site Access

Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary grants you (the user) a limited license to access and make personal use of the Site. The Site or any portions thereof may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written permission of Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary.

Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, as to the operation of the Site or the content contained therein. Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary cannot warrant that this site, our servers, or email communications affiliated with the use of the Site, are free from viruses. Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary will not be responsible for any damages of any kind resulting from use of the Site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

Applicable Law

By visiting the Site, you agree that the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary.

Changes in Policy

Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary reserves the right to modify, alter, delete, and update these policies at any time we see fit. Such alterations do not nullify our rights if infringements or breaches occurred under a previous version of these conditions.
