Sanctuary Tour

On this guided tour, lasting about an hour, you will learn all about wolves and wolfdogs, observe our animals, and hear their stories.

How to schedule: To see available dates and times and to schedule a Sanctuary Tour, visit our booking page.

When: Sanctuary tours are offered as follows:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Sundays at 1:00 PM
Saturdays at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, & 3:00 PM
We are closed to the public on Mondays and Fridays.

Price: As a non-profit charity we depend on donations in order to provide for our animals and keep the sanctuary running. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person for parties of 4 or less. For groups of 5 or more we require a $10 per person fee to reserve your place. This must be paid at the time of your booking in order to secure your spot.

If you are wishing to book a Sanctuary Tour for a large group, the above information applies. We understand that groups often seek to book months in advance in order to secure a spot, but don’t typically know how many people will attend until the date gets closer. We have made exceptions for these cases in the past by allowing payment on arrival, but due to a number of last-minute cancellations and no-shows, we are unable to make these exceptions moving forward.

Please note that your payment is considered a donation, and as such it is non-refundable. We are more than happy to help you reschedule your tour should you know in advance that you need to cancel.

Inclement weather: Our visitor walkway is covered, so we do not normally cancel tours due to weather. If it does become necessary to cancel a tour, we will contact you via the email you provide when booking the reservation. We’ll do our best to let you know at least several hours beforehand, though we can’t guarantee that.

Other info: Once you have booked your tour, you should receive a confirmation email with a booking receipt and additional information. If you have any questions on anything not answered on our website or in the email, please feel free to get in touch with us at

Additional information on visiting, and visitor guidelines can be found on our visiting page. For driving directions and other help planning your visit, see our page on planning your visit.

Please note: Our facility is handicap accessible but there is a several-hundred foot gravel driveway between our Parking Lot and visitor area. In order for our staff to accommodate you, please let us know in advance if you will need to drive your vehicle directly to the Gift Shop. We are happy to open the gates for you prior to your tour!
