Sanctuary Tour

On this guided walking tour of our sanctuary, lasting about an hour, you will learn all about wolves and wolfdogs, observe our animals, and learn their stories.

How to schedule: To see available dates and times and to schedule a sanctuary tour, visit our booking page.

When: Sanctuary tours are normally offered at 1:00 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays and Sundays, and at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm on Saturdays. We are closed to the public on Mondays and Fridays.

Price: As a nonprofit charity we depend on donations in order to provide for our animals and keep the sanctuary running. There is a suggested donation of $10.00 per person, though of course any amount beyond that will be accepted and greatly appreciated. No one will be denied visiting due to an inability to make a donation. Donations are tax-deductible.

We normally ask any group of 5 or more people to provide a donation in advance due to the need to have a docent and staff present for the tour. Since this is a tax-deductible donation, we cannot refund it. Please contact us with any questions.

Inclement weather: Our visitor walkway is covered, so we do not normally cancel tours due to weather. If it does become necessary to cancel a tour, we will contact you via the email you provide when booking the reservation. We’ll do our best to let you know at least several hours beforehand, though we can’t guarantee that.

Other info: If you want to bring more people than there is room available, please email us. Please do not book a tour for a smaller number of total visitors than you actually intend to bring!

Once you have booked your tour, you should receive a confirmation email with a booking receipt and additional information. If you have any questions on anything not answered on our website or in the email, please feel free to get in touch with us at info@wolvesofsaintfrancis.org.

Additional information on visiting, and visitors guidelines, can be found on our visiting page. For driving directions and other help planning your visit, see our page on planning your visit.
