VIP Tour

Want to get an inside look at our work here at SFWS? The VIP Tour gives you a chance! This is a private tour just for your group, so we are able to focus on whatever interests you, as well as to go inside the perimeter fence and get a closer look at our animals. Visitors can join our volunteers in preparing and giving enrichment, get a behind the scenes look, and a personalized visit where you can see and learn about all of the animals at Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary. Afterwards, you are welcome to remain for the regular sanctuary tour at 1:00 pm, if one is being held that day.

How to schedule: Reservations are required. You can book VIP Tours on our online booking form here. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at visiting@wolvesofsaintfrancis.org.

When: VIP Tours must be booked in advance and we recommend the sooner the better as tours are limited and fill quickly. The tour is offered at 11:00 am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Note that we are closed to the public on Mondays and Fridays, and are currently unable to accommodate VIP tours on Saturdays or most Tuesdays.

Price: For weekday VIP tours the cost is $125 per adult and $100 for children aged 13-17, teachers, and military personnel. For Sunday VIP tours the cost is $175 per adult and $150 for children, teachers, and military. (For groups of 4-5, the adult price is $100/person on weekdays and $125/person on Sundays.) Payment will be required when you book your spot. Please contact us with any questions.

Inclement weather: VIP tours are booked fairly far in advance, making it difficult to reschedule due to weather, but we are generally able to avoid cancelling. If you need to reschedule due to weather, we may be able to accommodate you at a later date, but please understand it may be a few months before there is a new available spot. If we do need to cancel, we will let you know as soon in advance as we can, via email and if necessary the phone number you left when booking your reservation.

Restrictions: VIP Tour appointments are restricted to a maximum of 5 people, and participants must be 13 years of age or older. Any minor (under 18 years old) who participates must also have their parent or other legal guardian participating. For safety reasons, we cannot make exceptions to these policies.

Note that a number of safety rules will apply, and for your own safety as well as that of our volunteers and animals, we will strictly enforce them.

Additional information on visiting, and visitors guidelines, can be found on our visiting page. For driving directions and other help planning your visit, see our page on planning your visit.
